The World Of Ibanez

Electric guitars that rock hard, basses that can bring the funk or summon metal thunder, acoustic
guitars with great natural sound and cutting edge electronics and hollowbody “Artcore” guitars for
jazz, blues and more. Ibanez instruments boast the most beautiful designs, finest craftsmanship
and prices that fit everyone’s budget.
The name Ibanez brings with it a long history of high-quality, affordable musical instruments
that have been pleasing musicians for decades. The roots of Ibanez go back to 1908, when the
Hoshino family-run bookshop in Nagoya, Japan began supplying musical instruments. In 1929,
the Hoshino Musical Instrument Company started importing its first guitars, the Salvador Ibanez
brand, from Valencia, Spain.
Fast forward to 2008, Ibanez instruments are being played by some of the greatest musicians in
every genre of music: Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, George Benson, John Scofield and Pat Metheny are
just a few of the musical giants that stand by Ibanez guitars.
With Ibanez instruments, there’s something for everyone: beginner to
professional. And every guitar is set-up and prepared with the same
care, regardless of price. Whether you play hard rock, jazz, funk, blues
or folk, there is a guitar or bass that will suit your needs.
Welcome to the World of Ibanez!

The Ibanez SZR
A heavier mahogany battle axe than the S, the SZR is thicker for more screaming, fat tone. Its 25.1″ neck has a different feel than the 25.5″ scale of the S. The SZR’s contours make up for any weight difference with a physical comfort that’s almost obscene.
